About Kazumi

I taugh for 3 years Japanese and some other asian languages (Korean and Chinese); I also taught English and French in Japan.
I had almost 30 students. And 14 in Japanese.
I traveled a lot : Japan, Korea, France, Italy, England, USA, Turkey, Albania.

About the lesson

Hello, I'm Kazumi, 22 years old, I am half Japanese from Monaco. Polyglot in 9 languages. I attended high school in japan before graduating from IB International Baccalaureate in USA.

Class in person at your's, outdoor or online. From 4 years old. Beginners to C1. I do not provide japanese business class.

My teaching method depends on your level, what you'd like to learn and how, as well as the purpose.
I usually cut my lesson in 4 parts :
-Vocabulary
- grammar
- verb / conjugation
- Exercise (short)
(-test/homeoworks if wished)

I highly concentrate on conversation.

I can help you prepare for JLPT.
As for the college entrance (motivation letter), translating your Cv or just school tutoring.

The 1st course is FREE excluding transportation cost :
- Meet up
- Reflect on your wishes : ~Your will : Motivated, hobby, busy, hardworking, lazy, studying habits.
~Your interest : Hobby, Pop-culture, work, studies etc.
~Your goal(s) : Learn basics, Work, become bilingual, pass exams etc.
- Lessons organization, What do you want to learn and how ? :
~Oral/writing comprehension/ expression ~Culture ~Vocabulary ~Conjugation/ Grammar;
How are the lessons composed ? ~Tests ? ~Homework ? ~Exercises ~Textbooks ~Personal printed lesson (made case by case) ~Annals ? ~Texts ? ~Newspaper articles ? ~Dialogues etc.

If you are beginning from nothing 0:
- I will give you a paper sheet with basic vocabulary as greetings, personal pronouns, alphabet and pronunciation. For you to discover the basics. It will not have to be known for the next course. It is just a language introduction.
- Take stock
-Begin the lesson if we have enough time.

If you have a certain level, which is it JLPT4.
Beginner :
I focus on familiarizing you with the language structure and getting you to speak.

Intermediate :
Most of the class will be in japanese.
- Short test, for me to have a better knowledge of capacities.
- What do you find troublesome ? Any difficulty ? What do you want to learn for the beginning ?
- A printed lesson corresponding to your level or your wishes however.
Or learn with videos, articles… that you have interest in and will help you improving.

If you are in a Group :
I still evaluate individually, wishes, levels are stills bit different even if they cross each other. Your personalities are different so the methodology is adapting to each of you.
The levels gap can not be too wide. I can see you all together or each independently for the trial. If one is a little bit slower or behind I can offer discount for catching up.

School tutoring : -Take your school furnitures (manual, homework)
- Take a look and bring your year curriculum (you can ask your teacher)
- What is troublesome ? Hard to remember or understand?
- Any blank in previous year curriculum ? Test

It is always possible to settle things. Be yourself. Don’t be afraid about expressing yourself, asking to repeat or go back on the previous points, asking questions…
Hardly working, having difficulty to keep the track, too fast/slow, this subjects do not suit or interest you (unfortunately some of them may be essential); lack of attention, dyslexia , hardly free for studying don’t be shy and notify me...

After class having hard times for applying, understanding a web article, exercise… you can contact me 7/7d, I will respond before the end of the day.
I do not recommend 1 hour course usually too short if you're over 13, yet 2h is usually too long for kids.
