About Isla
I’m a singing tutor with 5 years of experience helping singers prepare for professional recording sessions. My BM in Choral Conducting with a vocal emphasis allows me to combine technical precision with expressive performance. My students include school-aged performers, emerging artists, and adults seeking commercial release.
I focus on modern music styles, including R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Electronic. In lessons, singers learn microphone technique, vocal compression, harmony layering, and smart auto-tune use. I also provide guidance on working closely with producers to achieve a cohesive, polished sound.
My goal is to build confident, technically skilled, and studio-ready vocalists. Lessons are designed to enhance artistry while developing a strong, sustainable voice. Together, we turn your recordings into professional, standout performances.

My teaching methodology focuses on harmonizing individual voices into a cohesive group sound. I emphasize vocal blending, choral singing, part-singing, and sight-reading. Students learn to listen, adjust, and create a polished ensemble performance.
I work with both The Orchestra Member and The Crossover Artist, helping them integrate confidently into choirs. Students practice matching pitch, balancing dynamics, and harmonizing effectively. I encourage awareness of each voice’s role in the ensemble.
Through group activities, rehearsal simulations, and repertoire practice, singers become effective and confident ensemble members. I foster collaboration, musicality, and team confidence. Every lesson builds skills that translate directly to real choir settings.
