About Joeno

I am a passionate English educator and graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English, with hands-on experience supporting learners at different levels. As a former Reading Doctor, I helped learners who needed additional guidance in reading, numeracy, comprehension, and foundational skills. My practice teaching experience at Titay National High School further strengthened my ability to create engaging, supportive, and meaningful learning experiences for students. I believe good teaching is not only about delivering information—it is about understanding each learner, building confidence, and helping them discover their ability to succeed. My goal is to make every student feel comfortable, respected, and encouraged while guiding them toward becoming more confident, capable, and independent learners.

About My Lessons

My journey as an educator began with a simple belief: learning becomes meaningful when students feel understood. As a former Reading Doctor, I worked with learners who needed extra support in reading, numeracy, comprehension, and foundational concepts. That experience taught me patience and showed me that every learner has a different pace. Later, during my practice teaching at Titay National High School, I gained classroom experience teaching Grade 7 English and developing lessons that encouraged participation, understanding, and confidence.

Today, I bring those experiences into my tutoring sessions. I work with young learners, teenagers, college students, and adults, adapting each lesson to their level, goals, and learning needs. We can work on reading, speaking, listening, writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, comprehension, academic English, presentations, research, thesis writing, or more advanced concepts.

My teaching is patient, inclusive, and student-centered. I believe mistakes are part of learning, not something to be embarrassed about. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, expressing themselves, and trying again. More than simply finishing a lesson, I aim to help learners understand, become confident, develop independence, and discover that learning can be enjoyable. Every session is a step toward becoming a more capable and adaptable
