About AnaGavota
Private violin instructor with 10+ years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels. Specialized in ABRSM and Trinity College London exam preparation, with a teaching approach focused on technical precision, musical expression, and personalized methodology.
Concertmaster & Associate Concertmaster, Matanzas Symphony Orchestra (Cuba). Held teaching positions at the Vocational Academy of Arts and the Professional Conservatory of Music, Cuba, as well as Camerata Opus and Velvet Ivy Duo.
Currently based in Dubai, UAE, where I continue to teach private violin students and perform as a freelance violinist for concerts and events. Active member of the Emirates Musicians Association and performer with the Dubai Philharmonic Orchestra.

Whether you’re picking up the violin for the first time or looking to take your playing to the next level, my lessons are tailored to your goals, pace, and musical interests.
With over 10 years of teaching experience and more than 20 years as a professional violinist, I offer a balanced approach that combines solid technique with creativity and musical expression. We’ll work on posture, bow control, intonation, vibrato, scales, sight-reading, repertoire, and everything you need to become a confident, versatile musician.
I teach a wide range of styles, from classical music and film scores to pop, jazz, Latin music, and traditional Cuban music. Whether your dream is to perform on stage, play your favourite songs, or simply enjoy making music, lessons are designed to keep you challenged, inspired, and having fun along the way.
Music should never feel intimidating. Expect a supportive atmosphere, plenty of encouragement, and maybe a few laughs between scales.
Great technique is important, but enjoying the journey is what keeps you playing for life :)
