About Kateryna

What sets me apart as a tutor is my extensive background as both a performer and music educator. I began my music journey at a young age and quickly fell in love with both singing and playing the piano. Originally from Ukraine, I graduated from Kyiv Academy of Arts in 2015 and studied various disciplines, including voice, piano, and music composition. As a performer, I won music competitions in Ukraine and internationally, and participated in various projects and performances. With years of experience performing and teaching voice, piano, and music theory, I bring a deep understanding of the practical aspects of music alongside pedagogical expertise. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can grow not just in their technical skills but also in their musical expression and confidence.

About the lesson

I build each lesson based on the unique learning style, goals, and interests of my students, ensuring a customized and engaging experience.

In Piano and Voice lessons I blend in some theory, ear training, and even composition.

A typical lesson plan with me starts with warm-up exercises to boost technique. Followed by some theory review after which
I engage student in practical application through repertoire study, and musical analysis. Each session concludes with a recap, feedback, and goal setting for the next lesson.

My lessons are suitable for students of varying levels and backgrounds, from beginners to advanced musicians. Whether someone is pursuing music as a hobby or aiming for professional proficiency, I adapt my teaching to meet their specific needs and aspirations. Each lesson is crafted to foster growth, creativity, and a lifelong love for music.
