About Masumeh

I am an interdisciplinary researcher with a PhD in teaching English (applied linguistics). I have worked as a university instructor for about ten years (teaching mostly medical terminology to med students). I have published many articles, and my passion is research. I can teach thesis, dissertation, and publication. I am also interested in teaching reading to disinterested students (native and non-native speakers of English) and students with learning disabilities, particularly autistic and ADHD children and adults. I am very experienced in these areas, and I have been very successful (based on the parents’ opinions). My dissertation is about teaching English to students with ADHD. I can hold friendly sessions, and I do my best to increase my students’ motivation. I try to attract the attention of my students by using interesting books in a relaxed context where I ask them to drink their coffee during the session. I am very flexible as far as time is concerned, and I can teach whenever is convenient for parents and children/adults. I can also teach news, conversation, and essay writing. I am available just for online tutoring. My goal is to develop autonomous learners.

About the lesson

With 10 articles successfully published, and 10 years working as a university instructor, I can teach thesis, dissertation and publication. Also being very interested in teaching reading, I can make students interested in reading by holding friendly sessions and choosing interesting books. I am very patient and very flexible as far as time is concerned. Moreover, I am very interested in teaching reading to native/non-native speakers with autism, ADHD, or disinterested students.
