About Dr Nadith

I'm a PhD Graduate in Computer Science (AI/Artifical Intelligence & Machine Learning - Highly math-oriented) at Curtin University Of Technology, WA and currently involved in a post-doctoral research fellowship in the department of computing and the industry.

I have done the Sp. Hons in Computer Science, extending the 3 year bachelor's degree (Curtin University) to a 4 year (Hons) degree. I was awarded the batch's best performer twice (3-year bachelor's degree and the 4 year (Hons) degree) and promoted to the PhD programme straight away with a scholarship from Curtin University due to my outstanding performance. During my PhD, I was awarded multiple scholarships, including paid research assistantships, and I graduated with commendation from the Chancellor for my exceptional performance in the PhD.

Furthermore, I did my high school studies in the (G.C.E A/L) Higher Mathematics stream:
- Higher Mathematics (Advanced Pure/Applied Mathematics),
- Combine Mathematics (Pure/Applied Mathematics),
- Physics
, and I was awarded the all-island (Sri Lanka) best performer in the year 2006.

I am passionate about teaching mathematics and computing to students who face difficulties understanding complex concepts in their academic or professional careers. I have experience of over 7 years of tutoring (one on one) and teaching/lecturing at the University. I want to continue my passion for those who need help in their academic or professional career. Learning is a lifelong experience, and teaching is a hobby that I enjoy. I am busy during the semesters and will try to find time for someone who needs help to improve their knowledge.

In addition, I provide consultancy services for ML Engineers, MLOps, and Data Scientists to equip them with the latest state-of-the-art AI research trends and methodologies.

Consultancy Services:
- Provide data science consultation services for industry professionals. Client - Flanders, WA.
- Provide recommendations to clients, build a proof of concepts and implement solutions around machine learning, cutting-edge analytics and big data problems.
- Assist clients in integrating traditional structured data with modern, unstructured data via advanced
pre-processing and deep learning procedures.
- Working through a client’s entire data ecosystem to understand what’s available and missing and
model the solutions accordingly.
- Advising on advanced analytics and quantitative tools and modelling techniques to derive business
insights, solve complex business problems and improve decisions.
