About Phyllis

Teaching 5 years across various NCEA levels has provided me a deep perspective on fundamental conceptual hurdles. I simplify complex topics like thermodynamics, kinematics, and electrostatics for students ranging from high schoolers to those aiming for Olympiad or JEE and NEET success. My methodology relies on repeating worked examples until the process feels natural and logical. Years of practical and lab work experience allow me to bridge the gap between theory and actual application.

About the lesson

"Slow progress often signals a stronger foundation being built rather than a lack of understanding. I pace sessions to prioritize mastery over speed, ensuring that every 7 minute block of instruction directly targets the specific skill gaps identified in your homework help or exam prep.

Building 5 years of physics expertise into every interaction, I guide you through problems with clear and methodical steps. By checking your comprehension at regular intervals, I keep the trajectory of your learning consistent. Students walk away from these sessions with a concrete plan to tackle future NCEA questions with total confidence."
