About Louisa
English is hard and I am here to help!
I am a PhD candidate in society and culture and I have been teaching at the University level for 5 years. Primarily in the areas of history, sociology, and heritage.
I love helping students develop their writing skills, essay planning skills, and critical analytical skills in a non intimidating and welcoming environment.
I am a PhD candidate in Society and Culture and hold two masters degrees. I am an excellent writer, editor, and English literature analyst. I look forward to sharing my skills and knowledge with you!

I personalise my teaching methods to meet the individual needs of my students. I encourage a collaborative approach to learning where students feel comfortable to explore their own ideas and ask questions.
Each class the student and I will set a goal and work towards that. It is important that students leave feeling more confident with their English skills and have a plan for their next class.
I love teaching and do my best to make class fun for everyone!
