# My Approach to Tutoring

I believe effective tutoring should be **student-centered, supportive and practical**. I first understand the learner’s current level, learning needs and areas for improvement, and then adapt each lesson accordingly.

# Teaching Techniques & Methodology

My teaching approach combines:

* Clear explanation of concepts using simple and understandable language
* Interactive questioning and discussion to encourage student participation
* Guided practice followed by independent practice
* Regular review and reinforcement of previously learned topics
* Individualized support based on the student’s strengths and areas for improvement
* Use of examples, exercises and learning activities to make lessons engaging
* Continuous feedback to help students understand their progress and improve their confidence

For English lessons, I focus on developing students’ **reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar and communication skills**, according to their learning level and requirements.

# Typical Lesson Length

A typical lesson is **1–2 hours**, depending on the student’s age, level, learning objectives and availability. For younger learners, shorter and more interactive sessions may be more appropriate, while older students can benefit from longer structured lessons.

# My Qualifications & Experience

I am currently pursuing a **PhD in Education at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Gombak**, and I hold a **Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)**.

I have more than **10 years of professional experience in teaching, academic coordination and school leadership**, including experience as a Principal / Senior Educator. My responsibilities have included lesson planning, curriculum delivery, classroom management, student assessment, individual academic support and teacher mentoring.

# Who My Lessons Are For

I am particularly interested in supporting **primary and secondary school students**, including learners who need additional support in English, academic skills and classroom learning.

I am currently based in **Gombak, Selangor**, and I am available for both **online and face-to-face tutoring** in the Gombak area. I aim to create a friendly and encouraging learning environment where students can develop their skills and confidence step by step.
