About Mo
I am a PhD qualified engineer with postdoctoral research experience at the University of Oxford and extensive industrial consultancy experience at TWI in Cambridge. With several years of university level teaching, laboratory demonstrating and student support, I bring a combination of academic expertise and real world engineering knowledge to my lessons.
My teaching style is friendly, professional and tailored to each student's needs. I focus on explaining complex concepts clearly, building confidence and developing strong problem-solving skills through practical examples and structured exercises.
Whether you are preparing for school exams, studying at university or looking to strengthen your understanding of mathematics, physics or engineering, I will help you work towards your goals with a structured and supportive approach. My approach to teaching combines practical experience, technical knowledge and personalised coaching to help each student reach their full potential.
I hold a PhD in Engineering from the University of Southampton and have postdoctoral research experience at the University of Oxford, alongside industrial consultancy experience at TWI in Cambridge. I have several years of experience teaching, demonstrating university laboratory sessions and supporting students with technical subjects.
My lessons are tailored to each student's ability, goals and learning style, using clear explanations, practical examples and structured exercises to build confidence and understanding. I can teach mathematics, physics and engineering-related subjects, adapting the content to suit each student's needs.
Lessons typically last 90 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged. I welcome students at different levels, from school pupils preparing for exams to university students looking to strengthen their technical knowledge.
My aim is to make learning engaging, accessible and effective while helping every student develop the skills and confidence to succeed.
