About Jinyue
I hold a PhD in the School of Languages and Cultures of the University of Queensland and have substantial experience as an educator in Chinese/English translation and interpreting, and as a working translator and interpreter between Chinese and English. I am an expert member of Translators Association of China and an expert member of the CATTI Talent Pool of the CICG Academy of Translation and Interpretation as well as a member of the National Multilingual Translation Talent Pool of the CICG Academy of Translation and Interpretation. I am also an ordinary member of AUSIT and a NAATI accredited translator. I have recently been appointed as the Editor of the Cultural Translation Section of Open Cultural Studies under DE GRUYTER Poland, one of the world’s largest independent open access publishers. In 2023 I was appointed to the position of Editorial Board Member of English Literature and Language Review (Online ISSN: 2412-1703-Print ISSN: 2413-8827).
I have been a translator and interpreter for over two decades, both in China and Australia, and have eight years of experience in teaching college English, translation between Chinese and English at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
