About Anas
I am a professional programmer and data scientist with a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham. I have over 15 years of combined academic and industry experience, including teaching programming, algorithms, mathematics, and AI to undergraduate, master's, and PhD students across several UK universities. My background bridges both theory and practice — I’ve designed and delivered academic courses, supervised research projects, and worked hands-on in industry on real-world data and optimisation problems. This dual perspective allows me to explain complex topics in a way that is both academically rigorous and practically grounded. Teaching has always been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. I enjoy helping students overcome challenges, deepen their understanding, and gain the confidence to tackle advanced problems in their own work.
