About Taha

See (concealed information) for a full profile, reviews, and testimonials.

My goal is to help students not only solve problems in math and physics but also to help them understand and highlight fundamental concepts and principles so that students have more confidence to tackle problems and gain a strong foundation to succeed in the future long after tutoring. I have 5 years of experience tutoring students of various ages and backgrounds from middle school to graduate students.

I have a first-class Bachelor's degree in mathematics from Imperial College London. I also took the Part III of the Mathematical Tripos course, which is a world-renowned graduate course at the University of Cambridge. I have also graduated with a Ph.D. in theoretical physics. My teaching experience and background gives me the ability to be an exceptional tutor who can adjust their teaching style to meet the needs of the student.

Examples of subjects I can teach include:

Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Differential Equations, Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra.

Kinematics, Newton's Laws, Newtonian Mechanics, Conservation Laws, Gravity, Oscillations and Waves, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetism, Optics, Special Relativity, General Relativity.

About the lesson

My availability is flexible and I can help with homework problems and boosting confidence. My goal is to help students not only solve problems but also to help them understand and highlight fundamental concepts and principles in order for them to gain a strong foundation. This way students will see how various ideas in math or physics are connected and hopefully then develop an enthusiasm for the subject.

Incredibly patient and understanding
I asked for tutelage for General Relativity; a subject I know close to nothing about, and was met with an incredibly patient and understanding person who took me step by step through each section, and would show me tricks on how to make it even easier. I really appreciate him

Patient and Concise!
He demonstrated a good grasp of my college-level physics, and he made sure that I came away with a much better understanding of rotational momentum. He's been very patient with me, especially since I was very close to a brain-dead newt at the time of our session. Also—he has a very neat handwriting. It is very easy to look through the notes of what we went through for review. Thank you, Taha!
