About Neeraj
I am a dedicated and highly qualified Mechanical and Materials Engineering PhD candidate with a strong academic background from one of India’s prestigious IITs, where I completed both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering. My training has given me a deep understanding of mathematics, physics, and chemistry, along with the ability to apply these subjects to real-world engineering problems.
I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals. Having worked through rigorous academic systems myself, I understand what it takes to succeed in demanding exams and competitive environments. I bring this experience into my lessons by providing clear explanations, structured guidance, and practical problem-solving techniques.

My approach to tutoring is centered on clarity, understanding, and confidence-building. I believe that every student can excel in math and science when concepts are explained intuitively and connected to real-world applications. Rather than relying on rote learning, I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, logical steps and adapting my teaching style to suit each student’s pace and learning preferences.
In my lessons, I use a combination of structured explanations, worked examples, and guided problem-solving. I encourage active participation, asking students to think through problems with me so they develop strong analytical skills. I also incorporate exam-focused techniques, past paper practice, and revision strategies to ensure students perform well under exam conditions.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I am flexible and can offer longer sessions (90–120 minutes) for in-depth topics or exam preparation. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s goals—whether that’s strengthening fundamentals, catching up, or aiming for top grades.
I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a prestigious IIT in India, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Mechanical and Materials Engineering. My academic background provides me with a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, as well as practical engineering applications that enrich my teaching.
I offer lessons to students across a wide range of levels, including Junior Cycle (1st–3rd year), and Leaving Certificate (4th–6th year, including Higher Level Math, Physics, and Chemistry). I also teach undergraduate engineering students, particularly in mechanical engineering subjects, mathematics, and applied physics.
