About Rathika
I am a passionate and dedicated English tutor with a PhD in English Literature and a Postgraduate Certificate in the Teaching of English (PGCTE). I am currently pursuing my B.Ed. to further strengthen my teaching skills.
I have experience as a Teaching Conference Assistant, Junior Assistant Professor, and private tutor, working with students from different academic backgrounds. This has helped me develop a strong understanding of student needs, especially in building confidence and improving communication skills.
I specialize in teaching CBSE and IGCSE students from Grade 9 to Grade 12, focusing on grammar, writing, comprehension, and literature. My approach is simple and supportive, ensuring that students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas.
I believe that every student can improve with the right guidance, patience, and practice. My aim is not only to help students score better in exams but also to make them confident in using English in everyday life.

My lessons are designed to be interactive, structured, and student-centered, focusing on building strong fundamentals in English.
I teach students from Grade 9 to Grade 12 (CBSE & IGCSE), covering grammar, writing skills, reading comprehension, and literature. Each lesson is carefully planned based on the student’s level and learning needs.
I begin with a clear explanation of the topic, followed by guided practice, examples, and short activities to ensure understanding. I also provide regular feedback and simple techniques to improve writing, vocabulary, and accuracy.
For senior students, I focus on exam-oriented preparation, including answer structure, time management, and practice with past questions.
My goal is to help students gain confidence, improve their language skills, and perform better in exams, while also developing a genuine interest in English.
