About Timothy
I’m a passionate, PhD-qualified teacher who believes that education is a lifelong journey. I’ve taught at every level—from secondary school to university—and bring over a decade of experience to my work. Currently teaching in a leading private school, I also regularly lecture and supervise at university level, giving students a unique blend of academic depth and practical support. My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and intellectually engaging, designed to build confidence and spark curiosity. I specialise in Religious Studies, Philosophy, and English at GCSE and A-Level, offering tailored support for exam preparation, essay writing, and critical thinking. Whether your child needs to catch up, gain confidence, or stretch towards top grades, I provide a calm, encouraging environment where they can thrive. I offer both one-to-one and small group tutoring, online and during the summer break. Education should inspire and empower — I aim to make that happen for every student I teach.
