Looking to tutor GCSE science and A level Biology students.
Lessons are planned and adapted to the students needs and learning style. I do not believe in just memorising content for exams and want my students to understand the subject (and hopefully enjoy it!). Lessons will be online due to COVID-19, I will be looking to teach from my own home at a later date.
I would like the student to message me with any topics that they want to go over a few days before our lesson so I can ensure I have the appropriate materials to help them. I will prepare learning material to go through, usually a mix of theory and practice questions. After a few weeks I'd like the student to do a test so that the both of us can review what you have learnt and identify if there are any areas that need more focus.
I can also also tailor the tutoring to encompass exam strategies and techniques for specific exam boards.

Kristi is a brilliant scientist with a specialism in biology, who is also highly skilled at conveying complex scientific concepts in ways that can be easily understood. Kristi's aptitude for science communication makes her an excellent tutor for students of all ages who want to further their understanding of science.
I’ve worked along side Kristi during our Masters, she is both a brilliant scientist and teacher. Kristi is absolutely gifted in explaining scientific concepts to any individuals and I have experienced this personally many times. She is very patient and explains things in a simple but fun way.

Due to the current pandemic, all my lessons will be via webcam. I am potentially looking to move this to lessons from my own home at a later date.
