About Francesca
I am originally from Rome and I graduated from a liceo Classico in the curriculum Brocca, where hours of mathematics, physics, law and economics were added to the traditional subjects.
At the age of 19 I started my long series of movings. From 2013 to 2016 I lived in Trento, where I graduated in Economics from the University of Trento. During the last year of the bachelor (2015) I did a period of study abroad in Finland, as part of the Erasmus project.
From 2016 to 2018 I lived in Pisa, where I earned my master's degree in Economics (LM56) at the University of Pisa and the Scuola Superiore degli Studi Sant'Anna. During my master I was a university assistant for the course of Political Economy I and I taught classes of over 60 students.
Immediately after graduation, I moved again for six months to Frankfurt where I worked for the European Central Bank (ECB). In the meantime I applied for a PhD in Economics and since 2019 I am a PhD student at the IMT Scuola Alti Studi di Lucca. I am currently teaching PhD students.
I have a strong background in quantitative subjects and I speak English at a professional level. Furthermore, the continuous movings have led me to become a very open person and able to establish fruitful collaborations in a short time. I believe that my life and teaching experience can be an added value for my students.

We will define the approach together according to the needs of the student. For me it is important to create an informal environment in which the student can feel comfortable. In my view, repetitions should be a tool to support learning and not an additional source of stress!
We will definitely focus on the study method: the topics can be temporary, the method is forever!
