I am currently in the final year of a PhD in Paris 1, in parallel I have a contract in Data Science for a bank. I wrote two textbooks on data science, a first one devoted to R and data analysis. A second on the creation of deep learning model with Tensorflow. Experience teaching I was ski instructor for 5 years and French teacher in Shanghai for 3 years

About the lesson

Data Science Mastering the tools of big data, business intelligence and artificial intelligence is undoubtedly essential today. Mastering the most common computer languages as well as collaborative platforms bring a real advantage in the job market. To answer his various questions, I wrote two textbooks to enable students to learn about data analysis with today's tools. 1. R for Data Science 2. Introduction to Artificial Intelligence with TensorFlow Offer The courses are intended to understand data science, to master a large part of the information value chain: 1: Database connection 2: Creation collaborative platform 3: Knowledge of programming language to implement analysis 4: Discovery of analysis tools: capturing the best story behind the data 5: Report writing / Dashboard in collaborative mode 6: Sharing the analysis with the outside world (via Medium, blog / website, and other tools) Knowledge gained - Online data storage: cloud computing: AWS / Google cloud storage / Mongodb - Data Sharing - performance-oriented programming language (R, Python, SQL) - Integration of data analysis tool (BigQuery, Analytics mode, Jupyter notebook, etc) - Collaborative work: One platform for all employees (GitHub) The particula The aim is to understand the concepts of data science with practical cases while evoking the theoretical aspect. One of my preoccupations is to teach a data-oriented way of thinking. The most important in the data science is the methodology, that is to say, the creativity in the data modeling. Computer languages are only used to translate this way of thinking and not the other way around. Course Support - Each student will receive a copy of both textbooks - Access to notebooks * online - Access to data * A notebook is a web page with text and code. The advantage of the notebook is to visualize in real time the result of the code. During class, the student (s) will have access to the same notebook and will be able to annotate / modify the explanations of the notebook while viewing the results of the codes. Notebooks will be accessible beyond classes.
