About Sarah
I have been teaching languages since 2017. After tutoring at the writing center in my undergrad university, I was accepted by WorldTeach to teach English in an engineering university in Quito, Ecuador (Sept 2017-Aug 2018). During that time, I became TEFL certified. Also during that time, I had been accepted as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (Fulbright ETA) in Uruguay, where I both completed the grant and lived for 2.5 years (2019-2021). While there, I taught English to students of multiple ages, both online and off. I also won a national lesson-planning competition, as well as reached C2 level proficiency in Spanish through my own study, taking classes, and forming close relationships with local people.
