Techniques and Teaching Methodology:
My teaching approach is student-centered and interactive. I focus on understanding each learner’s strengths, weaknesses, and preferred learning style. I use a combination of visual aids, real-life examples, and problem-solving exercises to make complex concepts easier to understand. I also encourage active participation and regular feedback to ensure steady progress.
Typical Length of a Lesson:
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I can adjust the duration depending on the student’s needs and attention span. For intensive sessions or exam preparation, I offer 90-minute lessons with short breaks in between.
Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor:
I hold an MSc in Genomic Medicine from Trinity College Dublin and have conducted multiple research projects in microbiology, molecular biology, and bioinformatics. I have prior experience mentoring undergraduate students in lab techniques, data analysis, and scientific writing. My academic and research background allows me to explain both theoretical concepts and practical applications clearly.
