About Rosalind
I hold a degree in Philosophy from UCL as well as a masters degree in Health Humanities, also from UCL. I have been professionally tutoring for the past six years. The primary subject I teach is English (language and literature) from ages 4-18, including GCSE and A-Level. I also tutor A-Level Psychology and Religious Studies up to A-Level.

I base my classes on the examination board the student is on and current UK curriculum. Whilst I ensure that my students are being taught the appropriate information, I try to incorporate wider knowledge and interests into the classroom, I find it particularly beneficial to draw on the students own interests in a private learning setting as this encourages further educational development and attainment.
I endeavour to be a facilitator rather than an instructor in my lessons. That is, I work to guide my students to the correct understanding of the problems they are tackling. Through encouraging them to come up with solutions to the problems themselves, they are more likely to retain the information they have learnt and to be able to apply it in multiple settings.
Above all, I try to make my classes as educational and beneficial as possible whilst also being fun and engaging.
