I have experience providing one-to-one and small-group tuition in English and Maths for primary-aged learners, with a strong focus on 11+ English preparation. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs, ensuring that lessons are adapted to target specific gaps in knowledge while also building confidence and exam readiness. I place particular emphasis on developing strong comprehension and creative writing skills, alongside clear exam technique and time management strategies, which are essential for entrance exams.
Each lesson typically lasts 1 hour 15 minutes, allowing enough time to review prior learning, introduce new concepts, complete guided practice, and provide detailed feedback. I also incorporate regular homework assessment to track progress and ensure that students are consistently improving between sessions.
