My approach is tailored to the students specific needs. Typically this works back from the assessment requirements and where students feel they need the most help. I am happy to do background reading/research to prepare for my students specific needs and review their work prior to assessment etc.
Lesson length varies according to the students needs, it is flexible and I don't necessarily charge more if more time is needed. I enjoy tutoring so its not all about the money. Every teacher wants eager and dedicated students so I am flexible with time and costs.
I have had many students over the last 10 years, mosty university students wanting help with comprehension and essay preparation in their discipline. I feel most comfortable with topics related to philosophy, English and psychology. I have completed a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Linguistics.
