About Gabriel

I am a warm, engaging, and firm tutor with a First Class Honours degree in Philosophy from the University of London, and over three years’ experience in education and over five years in the arts as a professional actor and writer. I mainly tutor Philosophy, Ethics, and Religious Studies (specialising in Christianity) up to further education, as well as English and Maths for Key Stages 1, 2 and 3. I have worked as a teaching assistant and learning support assistant across various North London schools, supporting the learning of students with different special educational needs and abilities with their reading, writing, numeracy, and speech and verbal communication skills. In total, I have clocked over 200 hours teaching and tutoring experience over the last three years. I am also a workshop facilitator, designing and delivering workshops in poetry, creative writing, performance, public speaking, and theatre for people of all ages, abilities, and educational backgrounds. Most recently, I delivered a workshop at the Wellcome Collection linking stage magic and spoken word, and receive consistently positive feedback from participants, peers, and employers alike. I am a highly motivated creative, a confident and fluent speaker with well-honed written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for theatre, philosophy, and poetry. I am seeking to broaden the range of subjects I teach and pass my passion of learning and creativity on to my students, building their confidence and helping them reach their potential.
