I was recommended by a colleague to use Richard as a private photography tutor. 

I work in production and had a complicated stills project I was developing at the time for a lovely but demanding client.

Before we started, we had a quick call and talked through what my level was at the time and what I required.

We had to cover Film and Digtal which included shooting approaches and processing workflows. 

Across three 1hr sessions, he went through each part clearly and simply, encouraging discussions and ideas throughout. Every question (even the ones with the most obvious answers) was welcome and addressed with ease.

He is very knowledgable, which comes out in his enthusiasm, offering creative, technical and inspiring nuggets. He is also professional with a chilled but fun approach.

At the time, I had no desire to take pictures beyond my camera phone, but now I have a decent Fuji 100T which comes with me to set.
