About Jed
I absolutely love photography, and after earning my BA (Hons) Degree from the University of Hertfordshire, I spent over ten years working as an on-set photographer in the fast-paced TV and film industry. While shooting on amazing film sets with top actors was incredible, it was also highly demanding. I’ve reached a point where I want to step back from that hectic lifestyle and share everything I've learnt with others. There is nothing quite like watching a student have that "lightbulb moment" when a tricky camera setting suddenly clicks. I want to channel my industry experience into a friendly, welcoming space where you can learn without any stress. Whether you want to master the basics or eventually build up your own striking portfolio, I’m here to give you the exact professional guidance, patience, and encouragement you need to get there.

As a patient, friendly tutor holding a BA (Hons) Degree in Photography from Hatfield University, my practical lessons are designed specifically for absolute beginners of all ages looking to master both digital basics and traditional film photography.
Moving away from boring classroom slides, my interactive on-location methodology focuses on jargon-free, hands-on practice around St. Albans and London. We will shoot together during tailored, highly effective 1.5 to 2-hour sessions, instantly reviewing your work on-screen to ensure you quickly build confidence, escape "Auto" mode, and start taking high-quality photos you are genuinely proud of.
