With 7 years of K-12 and 2 years of collegiate tutoring experience, I can say for sure that I always am eager to hear of my student's success after helping them to create individualized study guides, methods, and build confidence going into exam day. -I am extremely passionate about making an individualized study plan and study guides that work best for each student
-Practice makes perfect! There are many ways to commit things to memory and make them easier to conceptualize and understand. Every student is different and I love finding the best way for my students to learn/visualize their studies while feeling confident when going into exams and quizzes
-I have tutored K-12 Science and Math classes, AP, Regents, and Honors Level High School courses as well as College level Biology, Chemistry, Cell Biology, and Organic Chemistry 1 and 2.
-What sets me apart from other tutors is my ability to relate to your student's academic worries, especially in a crazy world of academic pressures, online school, and stress. I love to share ways in which I have found success throughout my studies and ways to deal with exam day and test taking anxiety, as well as pacing, and confidence
-It is important to note that exam prep and success takes time! Although tempting, procrastination is a roadblock to be avoided. Setting goals is important when preparing for an upcoming exam.
