About Piru
I believe the purpose of teaching is to help students develop understanding, confidence, and independent learning skills. When I was a student, I personally struggled at times with difficult subjects and understanding certain topics, so I understand how frustrating and overwhelming learning can sometimes feel. Because of this experience, as a tutor I want to support students in a patient and encouraging way, helping them feel more confident and comfortable asking questions. I aim to explain topics clearly, adapt to each student’s learning style, and create a positive environment where they can achieve their full potential.

I am a Physician Associate graduate with a strong background in Biomedical Science and experience tutoring students in Maths, Biology, and Tamil. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, improve understanding, and achieve their academic goals through supportive and personalised teaching.
I have experience working with students of different ages and learning abilities, adapting lessons to suit individual learning styles and pace. My approach focuses on explaining difficult concepts in a simple and engaging way while creating a positive and encouraging learning environment.
As a healthcare graduate, I bring strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills to my tutoring. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping students succeed academically and grow in confidence.
