About Manuel
I'm 28 years old. I was born in Guatemala, where I studied physics and developed a strong interest in biology. After graduating Covid started, and this gave me the opportunity to attend an online summer school of biophysics organized by Princeton. at the same time, I started getting lots of online students that I would help study, and prepare for exams. After this period I got accepted to do a masters degree in Quantitative Life Sciences at the International Centre For Theoretical Physics based in Italy. Now that I finished, I moved to Portugal to do a Ph.D. Integrative Biology and Biomedicine at Gulbenkian Institute of Science. My trajectory has given me the opportunity to collaborate w people from lots of different backgrounds and learn how to teach and communicate with them.

I believe students should learn how to think and not how to repeat things, I focus mainly on this. I have been a tutor for 5 years, giving more than 500 hours of online lessons. The lessons have been given to high school students, university students, and even adults that wish to learn later in their careers. Classes take place online and usually last an hour.
