About the lesson

I’m a Physics tutor with over 9 years of experience and an MSc in Particle Physics, specialising in acoustics and noise control. My passion lies in unravelling how sound behaves—how it travels, interacts with materials, and shapes our environment. I guide students through the physics of sound propagation, absorption, reverberation, and noise reduction using clear explanations and real-world relevance. I believe sound isn't just heard—it’s experienced. That’s why I incorporate architectural acoustics case studies into my lessons. From concert halls to office spaces, we analyse how design choices affect sound quality. My sessions also include hands-on exploration of practical noise measurement techniques to reinforce theory with application. I help learners connect physics with problem-solving, whether it's calculating reverberation time or assessing the impact of insulation materials.
