About Robert

I have played piano for 28 years, beginning at age five and studying with three teachers from childhood through college. Alongside formal lessons, I participated in jazz bands on piano and alto saxophone and completed music-theory coursework. I began teaching in 2019, working with students ages 5–14 at beginner and intermediate levels. Since 2023, I have also taught adults, both in person and remotely, at similar levels. My teaching now includes in-person and online formats, supported by a set of digital practice tools that I developed to help students stay engaged between lessons.
