About Olivia

I am a classically trained pianist with a Master of Music from the Royal Academy of Music and over 18 years of experience performing the piano. I have played at renowned venues such as Fazioli Concert Hall in Italy, the Southbank Centre in London, and Proms at St. Jude’s, and I have been a prizewinner in various piano competitions.
My experience as a performer has shaped me into a thoughtful and supportive teacher. I understand the challenges students face at different stages of learning, from building a strong technical foundation to developing confidence in performance. Having studied with distinguished pianists and collaborated with singers, composers, and dancers, I bring a well-rounded approach to lessons, helping students not only improve their skills but also find joy in making music.

About the lesson

I design bespoke lesson plans to help students navigate their path through music, ensuring that each lesson meets their needs and goals. My approach balances technical development, musicality, and creativity to create an inspiring and effective learning experience.

Students will develop essential skills such as:
• Technical control, accuracy, and fluency
• Playing with depth and expression by shaping sound, dynamics, and articulation
• Sight-reading and aural awareness for well-rounded musicianship
• Music theory to support understanding and performance
• Confidence in playing for exams, recitals, and competitions

Lessons are available for students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced pianists.

I offer lessons ranging from 45 to 90 minutes, either in person or online, with flexible scheduling options.

My teaching style is supportive and structured, keeping students motivated while helping them progress with confidence.
