About Marko

My name is Marko Biškup. Im 27 years old pianist/piano teacher from Zagreb, Croatia. I started studying piano when I was 7 years old.
I graduated from Music academy in Zagreb. Currently Im working as a piano teacher at Music High School in Croatia (Varaždin). Im also leading member of first Tango orquestra in Zagreb.

Throughout my studies I worked with great piano teachers and pianists. I have also started playing different genres (such as tango music and pop among others) which enriched my music vocabulary.

For more than 8 years I've continuously had students to whom I've passed on what I have learned from many great teachers I've worked with as well as my own personal experience.
I had students that ranged from 5 till 60 years old, from complete beginners to already advanced pianists that wanted to improve more.
In my years of teaching I've had more than 40 students from which I have also learned a great deal that helped me improve my teaching approach. I am always eager to meet new students and to share the joy of creating music on this beautiful instrument!

About the lesson

My method and approach of teaching is individualistic.
As i get to know students problems , I devise a plan to help them achieve their goals.

I am also a firm believer that a relaxed and proper setup can make everything come much easier.

Music and playing should be relaxed and free way of expressing oneself and I am always happy to see my students achieve those things.

Also I try to make my classes enjoyable and encourage my students to trust in themselves because in the end we are doing this because of our love for the music :)

The lessons are for all levels of piano playing.
