About Vasiliki
Hello! I'm a passionate teacher with a deep love for both music and education. With three years of teaching experience in a private school in Athens, I've worked closely with students of all ages, helping them grow in confidence, discipline, and creativity. Whether in the classroom or online, I always aim to make learning a joyful and enriching experience. One of my greatest joys is teaching piano to beginners. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I believe the piano is one of the most expressive and rewarding instruments to learn. I love guiding students through their first notes, watching them progress, and helping them connect emotionally with the music they play. In my lessons, I combine structure and technique with a friendly, encouraging atmosphere, always adapting to each student’s pace and personality. Online Piano Lessons for Beginners – Teaching Plan
Level: Absolute Beginner – Early Intermediate
Format: Online (Zoom, Skype, etc.)
Lesson Length: 30–60 minutes
Lesson Goals:
Learn basic music theory and note reading
Develop correct hand posture and finger technique
Play simple melodies and chords with both hands
Build rhythm, coordination, and confidence
Sample Lesson Flow:
Warm-up (5–10 min) – Finger exercises, basic rhythms
New Concept (10–15 min) – Notes, chords, or music reading
Practice a Song (15–20 min) – Simple tune (classical, pop, or student’s choice)
Theory Bite (5 min) – Easy intro to staff, intervals, key signatures
Wrap-up (5 min) – Feedback, questions, and homework
