About Trevor

Hey! My name is Trevor Huebner. I am 23 years old, and have played piano since I was 5. Piano has been a passion of mine for many years and hardly a day goes by without an hour or two spent at the keys. I love music and try to teach myself as many instruments as I can handle, but piano is by far my favorite.

Music is not supposed to be work. Calm music relaxes the mind and provides an outlet for emotions. I've always enjoyed my friends asking me to play a piece or two whenever a piano is available. I've played a few dinners and weddings and it's awesome to be able to bring joy into people's lives.

I am classically trained, but well acquainted with multiple styles of music from classical baroque, romantic, jazz, and ragtime to more modern rock, pop, and, gospel.

About the lesson

• Playing an instrument is one of the most rewarding skills a person can develop. Learning to play the piano well lets you soothe the mind of yourself and others, and can make you the life of the party wherever a piano can be found!

• Lessons are tailored to each student's skill level and music taste. I believe strongly that while exercises are necessary, the average pianist will be quickly bored by them. Instead, I ask my students to find pieces they enjoy and want to learn, and challenge themselves that way.

• I am comfortable teaching piano from the very basics up to advanced skills and fingering and music theory
