About Lindsay

I am a piano tutor with 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. Music has always been an important part of my life, and teaching allows me to share both technical skills and artistic expression with students from different backgrounds.

My teaching approach combines structured learning with creativity. I help students understand the meaning behind music instead of simply memorizing notes. Every learner receives guidance that matches their pace, interests, and long-term goals.

Outside teaching, I continue studying piano repertoire, attending performances, and exploring different musical styles. These experiences enrich my lessons and help students develop confidence, musical sensitivity, and a lasting appreciation for piano.

About the lesson

My piano lessons help students enjoy music while developing strong technical foundations. We begin with correct posture, finger independence, note reading, rhythm practice, and simple melodies before gradually introducing more challenging pieces. Every lesson balances technical improvement with enjoyable musical activities that keep learners motivated.

As students advance, they study scales, chords, sight reading, dynamics, pedal control, musical phrasing, and expressive performance. I also include duet playing, rhythm games, creative exercises, and listening activities that strengthen musicianship. Personalized practice plans help students improve consistently between lessons without feeling overwhelmed.

My goal is to help students become confident and expressive musicians. Every lesson encourages creativity, discipline, musical understanding, and steady progress while making piano learning enjoyable for learners of every age and level.
