About Veda

I earned a PhD in Piano Interpretation and Performance Studies after years of advanced learning in composition, instrumental communication, and artistic interpretation during my academic journey. During the past 12 years, I have guided students from many different backgrounds and skill levels, helping them improve through personalised instruction and supportive mentorship. Teaching piano allows me to combine creativity, communication, and artistic expression in a deeply rewarding way. I enjoy helping learners become more confident musicians through engaging and practical lessons.

My teaching style focuses on adaptability, patience, and balanced musical development. Some students improve best through technical repetition and structured exercises, while others respond more naturally to improvisation and creative exploration. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s confidence level, comfort, and artistic goals. Along with technical growth, I help students strengthen listening ability, rhythm awareness, expressive playing, and performance readiness. Creating a supportive and encouraging learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities as a teacher.

Outside teaching, I continue practising piano, exploring different musical genres, and studying educational approaches that help keep lessons motivating and inspiring. Music remains a strong source of creativity and emotional expression in my life. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students become more expressive and self-assured throughout their musical journey.

About the lesson

My piano lessons are designed to help students strengthen technical foundations while developing confidence and creative musical expression through supportive and engaging instruction. I teach note reading, rhythm precision, hand coordination, finger independence, expressive phrasing, and dynamic control using practical exercises that feel approachable for learners at every stage. Lessons also include improvisation exercises, ear training, timing activities, sight-reading practice, and duet sessions that help students improve naturally through consistent practice. I create a calm learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring music while developing strong technical habits. Every lesson supports both musical growth and artistic individuality together.

Beginners focus on keyboard awareness, scales, posture, and simple melodies through organised routines and patient guidance that build healthy playing habits gradually. Intermediate learners improve coordination between both hands, smoother transitions, expressive timing, and rhythmic consistency through guided exercises and focused studies. Advanced students strengthen emotional interpretation, advanced repertoire, stage confidence, and performance preparation through detailed coaching sessions. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, confidence, and musical goals so progress remains balanced and encouraging throughout the learning journey.

Learning piano should feel enjoyable, inspiring, and meaningful. I encourage students to appreciate steady progress while building confidence through supportive feedback and regular practice. Many learners become more expressive and independent as their musical understanding develops naturally over time. My goal is to help students strengthen both technical skill and artistic confidence while creating a lasting connection with music.
