About Elara

I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Studies and Music Interpretation after years of focused learning in instrumental performance, composition, and music theory during my academic journey. Over the past 5 years, I have worked with students from many different backgrounds and skill levels, helping them improve through personalised instruction and supportive guidance. Teaching piano allows me to combine creativity, communication, and artistic expression in a deeply meaningful way. I enjoy helping learners become more confident musicians through practical and engaging lessons.

My teaching approach focuses on flexibility, patience, and balanced musical growth. Some students improve best through technical repetition and structured exercises, while others respond more naturally to improvisation and creative exploration. I carefully adjust lessons according to each learner’s comfort level, confidence, and artistic goals. Along with technical development, I help students strengthen listening ability, rhythm awareness, expressive playing, and performance confidence. Creating a supportive and welcoming learning environment remains one of my highest priorities as a teacher.

Outside teaching, I continue practising piano, exploring different musical styles, and studying educational methods that help keep lessons motivating and inspiring. Music remains an important source of creativity and emotional expression in my life. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students become more expressive and self-assured throughout their musical journey.

About the lesson

My piano lessons focus on helping students strengthen musical foundations while developing confidence and creativity through structured and engaging practice sessions. I teach rhythm accuracy, note reading, hand coordination, finger independence, expressive phrasing, and dynamic control using practical exercises that feel approachable for learners at every stage. Lessons also include ear training, timing activities, improvisation practice, duet exercises, and sight-reading sessions that help students improve naturally through consistent practice. I create a positive learning atmosphere where students feel comfortable exploring music while strengthening important technical skills. Every lesson supports both technical progress and artistic individuality together.

Beginners focus on keyboard familiarity, posture, scales, and simple melodies through organised routines and patient instruction that build healthy playing habits gradually. Intermediate learners improve coordination between both hands, expressive timing, rhythmic consistency, and smoother transitions through guided exercises and structured studies. Advanced students strengthen emotional interpretation, advanced repertoire, performance confidence, and stage preparation through detailed coaching sessions. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, personality, and musical goals so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.

Learning piano should feel rewarding, creative, and enjoyable. I encourage students to appreciate steady improvement while building confidence through supportive feedback and regular practice. Many learners become more expressive and independent as their musical understanding develops naturally over time. My goal is to help students strengthen both technical ability and artistic confidence while building a lasting connection with music.
