About Eric

With 13 years of piano performance experience, I bring a strong musical foundation to the way I guide students through classical repertoire. My approach combines technical development with musical expression, helping students build confidence while developing a deeper understanding of the pieces they play.

My training at the Eastman School of Music has given me a rigorous foundation for ABRSM and Trinity exam preparation. I also place strong emphasis on ear training, proper posture, hand position, sight-reading, and hand independence, ensuring students develop healthy and effective playing habits from the beginning.

Through clear music theory and structured guidance, I help learners understand not only how to play a piece, but also why it works. Whether you're preparing for an exam or simply looking to become a more confident pianist, my goal is to help you see tangible progress and lasting results in your playing.

You play and I listen to your sound. We focus on sight transposition and technical habits during these practical sessions.
