About Avery

I am a piano tutor with 11 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Piano Education and Performance Arts. My passion for piano began with its ability to create rich soundscapes and express emotion through harmony. Teaching piano allows me to guide students through both technical development and creative discovery.

My teaching style is patient, structured, and motivating. I help learners improve sight-reading, rhythm control, finger technique, expressive playing, and performance comfort. Many students begin feeling unsure about coordination, and I take pride in helping them grow through encouragement and steady progress. About the lesson

In our sessions, we focus on finger independence, sight-reading fluency, chord development, rhythm accuracy, and expressive dynamics. Beginners start with simple melodies, basic hand coordination, and enjoyable practice routines. Intermediate learners strengthen scales, smoother transitions, pedal technique, and musical phrasing. Advanced students refine interpretation, improvisation, performance preparation, and stylistic versatility across classical and modern repertoire. I provide structured feedback so improvement feels consistent and motivating.
