About Clara

I completed a PhD in Piano Pedagogy and Performance after years of studying keyboard interpretation, collaborative music, and advanced teaching methods during my academic journey. During the past 12 years, I have worked with students from many different backgrounds and experience levels, helping them improve through personalized instruction and supportive guidance. Teaching piano allows me to combine communication, creativity, and musical mentorship in a deeply meaningful way. I enjoy helping learners discover confidence through music and artistic expression.

My teaching style focuses on patience, adaptability, and balanced musical growth. Some students improve best through organized technical repetition and detailed structure, while others respond more naturally to improvisation and creative exploration. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s learning style, goals, and confidence level. Along with technical improvement, I help students strengthen rhythm awareness, listening ability, expressive interpretation, and performance confidence. Building a welcoming and encouraging learning environment remains one of my highest priorities.

Outside teaching, I continue practicing piano, studying different musical styles, and exploring educational methods that help keep my lessons engaging and creative. Music remains an important source of emotional expression and artistic development in my life. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students become more comfortable and self-assured with their musical abilities over time. Helping learners enjoy music while building lasting piano skills continues to inspire me greatly.

About the lesson

My piano lessons are designed to help students develop strong musical understanding while building confidence through supportive and organized instruction. I teach note reading, rhythm accuracy, hand coordination, finger independence, chord structure, and expressive playing using practical exercises that feel approachable for learners at every level. Lessons also include sight-reading activities, duet sessions, listening exercises, improvisation practice, and rhythm training that help students improve naturally over time. I create a calm and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and progressing steadily without unnecessary pressure. Every lesson balances technical development with creativity and musical enjoyment.

Beginners receive patient guidance with keyboard familiarity, posture, scales, and simple melodies that create healthy foundational habits. Intermediate learners improve reading fluency, pedal coordination, dynamic shaping, and smoother movement between both hands through structured studies and guided practice sessions. Advanced students focus on expressive interpretation, emotional phrasing, performance preparation, and advanced repertoire refinement through detailed coaching activities. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, musical interests, and confidence level so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.

Learning piano should feel rewarding and personally meaningful. I encourage students to enjoy steady improvement while building confidence through regular practice and supportive feedback. Many learners become more expressive and independent as their musical abilities continue improving over time. My goal is to help students strengthen both technical skill and artistic identity while developing a lasting connection with music. Every lesson supports creativity, discipline, and long-term musical growth.
