About Erin

My passion for piano began through admiration for classical music and its emotional depth. This led me to complete a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance and Music Education, where I studied advanced performance techniques, composition, and pedagogy. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students at various levels to build both technical and artistic skills.

I believe piano learning should be structured yet inspiring, allowing students to progress steadily without pressure. My teaching style focuses on building strong fundamentals first while gradually introducing expressive musical interpretation. I also adapt lessons according to each student’s learning pace and goals.

Beyond teaching, I continue exploring piano performance, modern teaching methods, and music theory research to refine my approach. My long-term goal is to help students not only learn piano but also develop a lifelong connection with music, where they can express emotions freely, perform confidently, and continue improving independently.

About the lesson

My piano lessons are designed to help students develop strong technical foundations while also building expressive musical skills. I teach note reading, rhythm coordination, scales, chord progressions, finger independence, sight-reading, and dynamic control. Each concept is introduced in a structured and practical way so students can apply what they learn directly through real musical pieces.

As students progress, lessons expand into advanced areas such as improvisation, music theory application, phrasing, and interpretive performance. I include structured practice routines, listening analysis, and repertoire development to strengthen both technical accuracy and musical sensitivity. My approach ensures balanced growth in both skill and creativity.

At advanced levels, I focus on recital preparation, expressive interpretation, and stage performance confidence. Students learn how to shape musical phrases, control dynamics, and perform with emotional depth. My long-term goal is to help students become confident pianists who can perform beautifully, interpret music meaningfully, and continue growing independently.
