About Daphne

I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance Studies after years of studying keyboard technique, musical interpretation, and collaborative performance during my academic training. Over the last 9 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds and skill levels, helping them improve through supportive instruction and carefully planned lessons. Teaching piano allows me to combine creativity, communication, and structured guidance in a deeply rewarding way. I enjoy helping learners realize that music can become both enjoyable and personally meaningful with the right support.

My teaching style focuses on encouragement, adaptability, and balanced skill development. Some students respond best to technical repetition and organized exercises, while others improve more naturally through creativity and musical exploration. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s goals, comfort level, and learning style. Along with technical growth, I help students strengthen rhythm awareness, listening ability, expressive playing, and performance confidence. Building a calm and welcoming learning environment remains one of my highest priorities.

Outside teaching, I continue practicing piano, exploring different musical styles, and studying creative teaching methods that help keep my lessons engaging and fresh. Music remains an important part of my life because it encourages emotional expression, discipline, and artistic growth. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students become more confident and independent musicians over time. Helping learners enjoy music while building lasting piano skills continues to inspire me greatly.

About the lesson

My piano lessons are designed to help students build strong musical foundations while enjoying the learning process in a calm and supportive environment. I teach rhythm training, finger independence, note reading, chord progressions, listening skills, and hand coordination through structured activities that feel simple and approachable for every learner. Lessons also include duet exercises, sight-reading practice, creative improvisation, and timing activities that help students develop musical fluency naturally. I create an encouraging atmosphere where students can improve steadily without feeling overwhelmed by difficult concepts. Every session balances technical growth with creativity and personal expression.

Beginners receive patient guidance with posture, scales, melody practice, and simple rhythm exercises that create healthy foundational habits. Intermediate learners improve pedal control, reading fluency, dynamic balance, and smoother coordination between both hands through structured musical studies and practical exercises. Advanced students focus on expressive phrasing, emotional interpretation, performance preparation, and advanced repertoire refinement through detailed coaching. I carefully adapt lessons according to each student’s pace, confidence level, and musical goals so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.

Learning piano should feel inspiring, rewarding, and personally meaningful. I encourage students to enjoy musical discovery while building confidence through regular practice and supportive guidance. Many learners become more expressive, disciplined, and independent as their skills continue improving over time. My goal is to help students create a lasting connection with music while strengthening both technical ability and creativity.
