Gary and I met several years ago and I started taking lessons for organ and piano when he announced some availability Facebook. He is patient, knowledgeable, and flexible enough to challenge a student of any level. I would recommend Gary to anyone from a beginner to an experienced musician.

I’ve been taking lessons from Gary for a few months now and I’m super thrilled with my progress! Playing the piano is something I’ve wanted to do my whole life and now that I’m retired, I can finally focus on this. Gary is a fantastic teacher—patient, understanding and sets a relaxing atmosphere that’s conducive to the learning process. He answers all my questions and allows me the freedom to work at my own pace. I also enjoy playing with Winston, his pug, making our weekly visits very pleasant!! I highly recommend taking lessons with Gary!

My daughters and I have been taking piano lessons with Gary Marks for close to a year and a half. He has been a great teacher. Always patient with my daughters and always having a good mix of technique and interesting pieces for us to practice. The lessons are well organized and he keeps all of us focused and productive. He also keeps a lesson journal which is very helpful with practicing. I would highly recommend him as a piano teacher for both adults and children.

I am very fortunate to have found Gary Marks for a piano instructor. I have been learning from him for 2 years and have thoroughly enjoyed every lesson! He is very patient and If I’m having a little difficulty on a certain lesson he is always willing to help me understand and to make sure I’m ready to continue the lesson. He is truly a gifted pianist and I would recommend him 100%. I am a 73 year old woman so if I can learn piano with him anyone can! Gary marks is awesome!

Mr. Marks has been teaching piano and organ lessons to my children for about 2 years. I have been so pleased with the progress they have made so far. He is very patient, yet challenges them to do their best. They are learning not only how to play a tune, but also how to read music, use proper technique, keep a tempo, and even some musical theory. I highly recommend him as I feel that he is able to give children a solid musical foundation while still keeping it fun for the kids.
