About Marley

I have 6 years of experience teaching piano, and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education (Piano). My journey started with a strong interest in music and teaching. Over time, I discovered how powerful piano can be in bringing people together through rhythm and melody. This inspired me to guide students in their own musical journey.

My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and interaction. I enjoy teaching group lessons, duets, and ensemble playing because they help students learn collaboration and timing. I also focus on building confidence through performance and practice. Each student receives support based on their learning style and goals.

Outside of teaching, I stay connected with music through practice and group performances. This helps me bring energy and creativity into my lessons. Teaching piano is something I truly enjoy because I get to see students grow in confidence and skill. Helping them enjoy music is what makes my work meaningful.

About the lesson

My piano lessons focus on helping students develop musical fluency from the very beginning. I guide learners through finger independence, reading notes, rhythm training, and coordination in a simple and structured way. Each lesson includes exercises that improve hand control and timing, making playing feel smooth and natural. I also include duet playing and interactive activities to make learning more engaging and enjoyable. This helps students stay motivated and confident.

I support learners who want to play different styles, from simple melodies to expressive pieces. Lessons include reading practice, rhythm exercises, and real-time playing techniques. I adjust my teaching style based on each student’s needs. Some learners need strong structure, while others benefit from creative exploration. I provide both, ensuring balanced progress. I also focus on helping students feel confident while performing, whether in small groups or on stage.

As students continue learning, they develop better coordination, stronger rhythm, and more expressive playing. They begin to enjoy music more deeply and feel confident at the piano. My goal is to help learners build both skill and confidence so they can play comfortably and enjoy every moment of their musical journey.
