About Melyna
I have been teaching piano for 15 years. As a teacher I started my career by teaching private at home, then I once taught at Purwacaraka. I am currently a teacher at a Yamaha music school in Jakarta. I learned classical piano for the first time at Yamaha music school. To deepen my knowledge of music, especially pop and jazz, I studied with Otti Jamalus, one of the jazz pianist singers in Jakarta. During the learning process I was actively exploring my music by playing bands, accompanying choirs, playing music in the church, accompanying weddings and others.

I believe to get a skill can not be done instantly. I am a teacher who provides gradual teaching materials because that way the output produced is also maximal. For me the technique is important as a foundation / foundation to play the piano so I teach classical songs to beginners. When the technique is sufficient I will introduce students to other types of music so that their musical insight increases. As a teacher I am not closed to just one particular type of music. My hope, my students can learn / play independently the music they like in the future. I can also prepare children for the ABRSM practice / theory piano piano exam.
