About Kahina
I am a piano tutor with over 7 years of experience teaching college students, dedicated to helping learners build strong skills and musical confidence. My teaching approach is student-centered and adaptable, ensuring lessons suit each learner’s pace and goals. I emphasize proper technique, sight-reading, rhythm, and music theory, while making lessons engaging through improvisation, composition activities, and contemporary music integration.

My approach to teaching piano is student-centered, creative, and structured. I aim to help students enjoy learning while developing strong technical and musical skills.

As a mentor and critical thinker, I guide students to understand rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression in simple, easy-to-follow steps. Students learn to analyze their playing and improve steadily.
Accountability is emphasized through structured practice routines, goal setting, and regular progress tracking. This helps students stay disciplined, confident, and focused on their musical growth.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, keyboard basics, and simple composition to support well-rounded musical development.
