About Gabriel
I help students start playing real music early—often within the first few lessons.
I’m a professional pianist with 12+ years of teaching experience and over 7 years of international performing (Switzerland, Austria, Iceland, Spain, and worldwide on luxury cruise ships).
Whether you’re a complete beginner or returning after a break, I tailor each lesson to your goals so you can progress efficiently and enjoy the process.
I started piano at age 6 and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Piano Performance. I’ve also taken part in many masterclasses and studied with outstanding pianists. My background includes classical, jazz, blues, pop, rock, and chord-based playing.
I’m passionate about teaching and focused on helping you reach your goals in a clear, supportive, and enjoyable way.

I am a patient and dedicated piano teacher, working with students of all ages and levels. Every lesson is tailored to your goals, learning style, and musical interests.
I teach a wide range of styles, from classical to modern music (jazz, blues, pop, etc.).
I can teach you reading sheet music or playing by ear, depending on your preference and goals. I can also help you improvise and create your own music in the styles you enjoy.
I also have strong experience working with students with ADHD and dyslexia, adapting lessons to make learning clear, structured, and engaging.
I focus on healthy technique, musicality, and effective practice habits to build confidence and avoid tension or injury. I also help students develop a technique that prevents common issues such as tendonitis, which is very important for long-term playing.
You’ll also receive support outside lessons, including answers, feedback, and video explanations when needed.
I prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity exams (Grades 1–8 and Diplomas), but I also teach students who simply want to enjoy playing.
My students range from age 3 to 75+, and all make meaningful progress.
Online lessons are just as effective as in-person ones. I use a professional multi-camera setup and high-quality audio so you can clearly see technique and movement. Most of my lessons (95%+) are taught online.
Curriculum
There is no single method that fits everyone, so I adapt all materials to you.
For beginners, I often use Alfred’s Basic Piano Library. For classical and jazz development, I work with ABRSM and Trinity syllabi. I’m always happy to use other methods if you prefer.
Alongside structured materials, I include music you enjoy and focus on essential skills that apply across all styles—from classical to modern music.

Gabriel is a very passionate pianist who is very talented. My son has had 4 lessons with him and he enjoys the lessons and improving.
Very friendly, patient, overall great.
After the first 3 lessons, I am very happy to have Gabriel as a piano teacher. He is an excellent tutor for anyone who wants to learn the piano the right way. From correct posture, finger independence, reading music and keeping tempo, he constantly share his experience and knowledge to motivate and correct. I strongly advise.
I started classes with Gabriel a few years back, while I was having a terrible corporation job that made me stressed out and unable to focus most times. He had so much patience, even when he had to repeat the same thing time and time again, he´s extremely dedicated, very professional and very kind hearted and friendly. Highly recommended to anyone willing to learn a new skill or improve an existing one!
Gabriel is very good musician, but most importantly, he is very patient, easy going, inspiring and you can feel his passion for teaching as well as his love for music .
Gabriel is been really helping me understand music with technique work and working on pieces that are very important but also on songs that I really enjoy. The thing I like about Gabriel is he doesn't make you feel bad about your mistakes, he's there to help you, he really cares.
I'm an architecture student and an 8th year long piano practiser. I begun taking piano lessons with Gabriel to brush up my skills and and to better understand music before pursuing a graduate degree into a French conservatory.
Since the very first piano class with Gabriel, I became very enthusiastic about practicing and due to his patience and clarity to explain musical phrases, theory and interpretation rules, I started to feel and to understand better what I was playing.
I warmly recommend Gabriel as a piano tutor to everyone willing to enrich his piano practice!
His international experience as a pianist brings to his teaching methods a lot of patience and adaptability. During the classes, he is able to adjust our lessons to the level of instruction to meet our goals, and this, always by providing a positive and inspiring environment!
I highly trust Gabriel's teaching process!View more recommendations
